"This Shit Is Banana's, YO!" -Shaun T

Dear Sanity,

OMG, I repeat O-M-G.  Today was Pure Cardio day.  Never in my life have I EVER done cardio like we did today.  I knew it was going to be crazy when at the end of warm-up (which btw, is hard enough to be considered a workout all in it's own) Shaun T says, "I'm nervous for what's coming you guys..."

Each of us ladies turn to each other and mouth, WHAT!? why would he say that?  

Today's intensity was ramped up several notches, and we went 20 full minutes at top intensity, with no stops, no breaks, no let up.  20 minutes can be a very long time, when doing high knees, suicide push-ups, power lunges, high jumps, and so on.  Shaun T has a group of really super in shape people working out all around him, and THEY couldn't do it all without stopping.  His response? if you need a break that's fine but "I'm not doing this to hurt you, I'm just trying to make you better." 

Well, today was as tough as any workout I have ever attempted, and when I took a look at the other two ladies, I know it probably is the same for them.  I did, however find some comfort, when the workout was complete Shaun T laid down on the ground sweating and panting just as hard as we were, and he says "why do I do this"..."this shit is banana's, yo!" talk about LMAO~ his thinking was straight in line with ours.

I loved that! It makes me feel so much better seeing that even oober in shape people find this to be hard, so hard in fact, the inventor and instructor is feeling the pain;) and we can be proud of our attempt, knowing we worked much harder than we ever thought we possibly could, survived it, and are on our way to the best shape we've been in ever in our lives!

okay, tomorrow is waiting for us, and we are ready to get insane:)
